About us
Founded in the vibrant city of Joy, Kolkata, MASKAA is the new go-to choice for everyone looking to gift something unique for all sweet occasions. Our unique range of hand rolled chocolate truffles, modern Indian mithai, bark thins and mini ghewars leave all cravings utterly satisfied, only leaving them wanting more!
We at MASKAA, aim to take our generational recipes and traditional mithais to the next level, to make it fun and enjoyable for every family member, from kids to parents, to grandparents. We take immense pride in having a perfect offering for all age groups and cultures from South Indian classics like ‘The Mysore Pak’, to our modern take on the Classic Punjabi Pinni, with our ‘Aata & Biscoff Laddoo, to our Founders’s favourite and high protein match - ‘Sattu & Sesame Laddoo’.
MASKAA not only brings a joyful end to every meal at home, but also marks each memorable occasion with friends, family, and 'your butter halves', because "Thoda MASKAA Lagana To Banta Hai!".

"I remember, whenever we received a box of sweets at home, my parents thoroughly enjoyed their classic mithai and laddoos.
However, we kids only indulged in the fun treats like pastries, chocolates, Punjabi Pinnis, and other Indian desserts such as Rasmalai or Gajar Ka Halwa, rather than the extremely traditional and sweet Rasgullas or Motichoors.
As a foodie and restaurant owner, I wanted to create something new to make mithai as enjoyable for kids as it is for adults. That's how MASKAA started—with flavors inspired by everyday ‘fun’ ingredients like peanut butter, dark chocolate, Biscoff, pumpkin seeds, and more.

"After meeting Drishleen, and witnessing countless moments of her awe-inspiring creativity, I knew I wanted to be a part of her journey.
We met at work, and anyone who knows Drish will tell you—she’s incredibly particular about her craft. As our relationship grew stronger, she let me into her sacred creative space. I found myself not only as her life partner, but also as a professional collaborator in her vision.
That’s when I discovered a new kind of fun. A type of enjoyment that was beyond neat excel sheets and streamlined project timelines. A kind of gratification that is full of colour and bringing smiles to peoples faces, and let's me contribute to our dreams in the best way possible.
Drish with her creativity, aesthetic, and spot-on flavor combinations; me with numbers, operations, and optimizing everything I can get my hands on....
